TREND KILLER composed by Nick Daniels, lyrics by Laura.
Nick Daniels came to me mesmerized by this one girl, especially for her looks and the way she dressed. He wanted me to reflect how much he liked her for her style, check the lyrics below:
“Dressing like that, it ain’t legal, legal
Crazy for her ways, trend killer, killer
Vogue’s not on time, girl now that you’re mine
Runway’s tonight, no clothes allowed
Dressing like that, it ain’t legal, legal
Crazy for her ways, trend killer, killer
Vogue’s not on time, girl now that you’re mine
Runway’s tonight, no clothes allowed
Making it fast, drink enough Jack
I’m at the top, changing my plans
Inside the box, y ahora no sé, me la quité
Feeling blessed, yo qué sé
Livin’ free, flow with me
On it, tough sex
Physically, you told me
Don’t wanna chase this is for real
Mutual feel, no strings attached
Don’t wanna blame after it fades
We free to leave but stay for the day
Dressing like that, it ain’t legal, legal
Crazy for her ways, trend killer, killer
Vogue’s not on time, girl now that you’re mine
Runway’s tonight, no clothes allowed
Dressing like that, it ain’t legal, legal
Crazy for her ways, trend killer, killer
Vogue’s not on time, girl now that you’re mine
Runway’s tonight, no clothes allowed
I’m down, her and I
Playin’ round like combining all the pieces
Girl, you’re my type even Levi’s would be jealous
Crazy Drilling ling ling
Keep it on a polaroid, fill my void
Babe, I’m yours
Laughin’ now, cryin’ later, como dijo Drake
Esto que tenemos, ser libre sienta tan bien

BLOCKED composed by Nick Daniels, lyrics by Laura.
This song, as well as all the others interpreted by Nick, was built from an idea that Nick brought to the songwriting session. about being literally blocked on social media by his ex after they decided to break up. I thought it was an excellent and powerful topic and from that, we put the words to an already existing melody that he had put together. This can be tricky, ’cause trying to fit words to a preexisting melody for sure limits the lyrics creativity, but it’s a beautiful process. So if you’ve composed a song but have no inspiration for the lyrics or you’re struggling with them, I’d love to help you tell the story people need to hear and finally put it out there!
Here’s an excerpt of the lyrics:
“She doesn’t know my name anymore, yeah
Yeah, not 2 weeks yet
Got replaced in a blink
Left me in the cold, no blanket
She doesn’t text me back anymore, yeah (What?)
Mmm even blocked me
She lied to my face
That girl knows no loyalty
I just wanna spend cash in a casino
Ordering some wine, drink it like a venom
Just tell me if you love someone, let me know (Let me know)
Just show me all that dirt, I’m a rockstar (Yeah I’m a rockstar bae)
Gonna need a little more to smash me up nah (Nah nah)
Call me back, I’ll meet you right back
We can start (We can start), forget all our past (Let’s go)
Girl I’m with you, I still need you
Yeah, I will wait in my backyard

“NOT YOU” composed by Nick Daniels, lyrics by Laura.
Here’s an excerpt of the lyrics:
“I think that it’s time, I can read your mind
Babe it’s not the same, I’m afraid to say
Intending not to let it fall
Not true, not you
Girl I get that, you don’t have to
Stayin’ over at my house if you don’t want to
It’s alright though, do you wanna go
I got all these other plans, love to break out
Yeah, so go to another party and drinking some wine
C’mon ease your mind, just think that I’m fine
Girl, I know, I understand
